This Cookie Policy explains how Grotech Digital ("Company," "we," "us," and "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website at https://grotechdigital.com (the "Website"). It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and the choices you have over them.
When you first arrive on the site, you'll see a cookie banner that lets you Accept all, Reject all, or Customize which categories you're comfortable with. Until you choose, only strictly necessary cookies are set. You can change your decision at any time using the "Manage cookies" link in the footer.
01.What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They're widely used to make sites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owner.
Cookies set by us are called first-party cookies. Cookies set by someone other than us — for example, Google or Meta — are called third-party cookies. Third-party cookies allow features like analytics and advertising to work on our site, and they may also let those providers recognise your device on other sites.
We also use closely related technologies — local storage entries and tracking pixels — which work in a similar way. For simplicity, we refer to all of them as "cookies" in this policy.
02.Why Do We Use Cookies?
We use cookies for three reasons:
- To make the site work. Some cookies are essential for basic functionality, including remembering the cookie choices you make here.
- To understand how it's used. We use Google Analytics to see — in aggregate — which pages people read, how they got there, and what's broken, so we can improve.
- To measure our advertising. We use the Meta Pixel to measure the performance of ad campaigns we run on Facebook and Instagram and to reach people who might be interested in our services.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't use cookies for any purpose beyond the categories described in this policy.
03.Our Cookie Categories
Required for core functionality like page navigation, security, and remembering your cookie choices. The site won't work properly without these, so they can't be turned off.
Examples:Our own cookie that records your consent preferences so we don't ask again on every page.
Help us understand how visitors find and use the site — which pages they read, how long they stay, and where they drop off — so we can improve it. Off by default until you opt in.
Examples:Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_#).
Used to measure the performance of our ad campaigns and to show you more relevant ads on other platforms. Off by default until you opt in.
Examples:Meta Pixel (_fbp, lastExternalReferrer, lastExternalReferrerTime).

04.How You Can Control Cookies
You decide which cookies to allow. There are three ways to manage them on our Website:
- The cookie banner. Choose Accept all, Reject all, or Customize the first time you visit.
- The preference centre. Open it any time from the "Manage cookies" link in the footer (or the button below) to change your choice — including withdrawing consent.
- Your browser. See the next section for browser-level controls.
If you reject non-essential cookies, the site will still work. You may just not get personalised ads from us elsewhere, and we won't be able to see how you used the site in our analytics.
05.Managing Cookies in Your Browser
Most browsers let you see what cookies are stored, delete them individually or all at once, and block them in future. The exact steps vary — these guides cover the most common browsers:
Most advertising networks also let you opt out of targeted advertising at the network level:
06.Pixels and Other Tracking Technologies
Cookies aren't the only way to recognise visitors. We also use a tracking pixel (also called a web beacon or clear gif) provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. A pixel is a tiny image or piece of code that fires when a page loads. It lets Meta know that a visit or conversion happened, so we can measure how well our Facebook and Instagram ads perform and reach similar audiences.
The Meta Pixel only loads when you have given consent for advertising cookies. If you reject that category, the pixel script is not loaded and no information is sent to Meta from our site.
07.Targeted Advertising
When advertising cookies are enabled, third parties — currently Meta — may receive information about your visit (such as the pages you viewed and actions you took) in order to measure the effectiveness of our ads and to show you ads they think you'll find relevant on other sites and apps. The information they collect through our Website does not by itself identify you. They can only connect it to a real identity using information you have already provided to them directly.
08.Updates to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. If we add new cookies or change the categories we use, we'll ask for your consent again where required. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
